Daniel Island is a wonderful little community situated slightly outside of the town of Mount Pleasant, SC and offers a quaint “small town” feel right in a fairly large city. Homes on Daniel Island vary from price in the 100′s for a condo, to well over $3 Million for a water/riverfront custom home with a dock. Daniel Island has its own schools that are very sought after to get into, sports fields, running trails, tennis facilities, private golf course, and of course restaurants and shops. Should you want to go to the beach, it isn't but 15-20 mins to Isle of Palms, SC or Sullivan’s island. Daniel Island is home to the the tennis arena where the Family Circle Cup is held each year along with many national music artist concerts. The real estate market on Daniel Island is very strong as well, and has done very well considering the state of the housing market in recent years.
